WorkshopsGreat classes from our great guest teachers
UPCOMING WORKSHOP IN APRIL!
Ever dreamed of flipping across a stage, hanging from a trapeze or souring through the air on silks like in Cirque du Soleil show? Now’s your chance…
Since originally opening in West Hollywood, Cirque School has been closely tied to the Los Angeles LGBT community. To celebrate, we’re offering a 90-minute workshop for LGBT students and friends.
(We’d call it “Cirque du So Gay,” but that would be predictable…)
Whether you’re a CrossFit addict, casual gym goer, or someone who hasn’t taken a class since junior high PE, Cirque School’s classes are meant to challenge students in a fun, non-judgmental environment. This is all about having a great time while meeting new people and challenging yourself physically and mentally.
All you need is a little faith in yourself, and a willingness to take a chance.
Plus, we’ll set you up to take amazing photos for Instagram, SnapChat, Facebook, Grindr, Tinder, Scruff – PG photos only, please – so you can brag about it later.
The workshop will cover:
- Static Trapeze (not flying)
- Aerial silks
- Acrobatics and tumbling
- Partner balancing
No experience necessary.
Advance registration is required.
WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable workout clothes and a bottled water. You may want tights or workout pants for the trapeze, but it’s not mandatory. (Besides, we’ve all dealt with a little pain on a Sunday in LA; you’ll survive this, too.)
