SPECIAL EVENTS, PARTIES & TEAM BUILDING

Our circus-inspired events and team building workshops offer a unique way to have fun by bringing people together to try something new. We offer a variety of in-person options that are truly for Any Body with Any Body. No prior experience or athletic ability is necessary. Each event is custom designed to meet your specific needs — whether for work colleagues, families and friends or art schools.

While participants will experience both great successes and new challenges, they also allow them to appreciate differences and recognize unrecognized strengths – both in themselves and in their friends, colleagues and family. Cirque School’s instructors teach within a non-competitive and safe environment, and emphasize group support, encouraging each person to find where their own natural abilities shine within these new and unfamiliar circus elements.

This program was developed for clients and individuals looking for invigorating and unique ways to spend time together.

Our events begin with a group warm up, and then break off into small groups in which guests are able to try a sampling of cirque skills in rotation. The event culminates with the entire group working together in a group using the skills they just learned.

Cirque Fun 101 Enter the Big Top
Have fun and feel fabulous in the air or on the ground as participates learn a variety of circus skills on rotation. (In-Person Only)

Cirque Partner Skills & Thrills 101 *Teamwork Makes the Dream Work*
Use your bodies as counterweight for a fun, invigorating, and trust-building experience. Come play with us as we stretch, flex and balance our bodies in harmony with a partner. (In-Person Only)

Juggling 101 *A Metaphor for Life*
In juggling, you have to be willing to fail, make mistakes — literally drop the ball — and you have to not beat yourself up for it. Here, guests learn to applaud themselves for trying, for being brave enough to take the risk, and along the way discover many new skills. This workshop isn’t just about juggling, it’s about being brave in front of friends and coworkers to throw it all into the air and trust that you have the skill, determination and focus to catch it all!

Cirque Life Drawing 101 *Find the Artist Within*
This virtual and in-person event offers the unique opportunity to draw live circus models in action! It functions like a traditional life-drawing class, with multiple one-minute poses of the artists warming up and progressing to unimaginable positions of balance and extreme flexibility for three-minute poses. This event culminates in gesture-drawing sections where the models flow through three-minute sequences multiple times. For visual artists of all levels from amateur to professional. This is perfect for art schools, animation studios (past clients include Netflix and FOX), and anyone who is inclined to take pencil to paper.

Cirque Fit 101 *Get Ready to Hit Your Stage!*
A full-body, invigorating workout to both strengthen and lengthen the body that is inspired by the drills and skills circus professionals utilize to condition and warm up their bodies before a performance. This approach encourages full body wellness for body and mind, leaving the participant more engaged in their bodies. A perfect company wellness class.

Cirque Events and Team-Building Workshops are between 60 and 90 minutes long depending on the chosen skills.
